Publishing Policy

Publication Evaluation and Refereeing Process

Studies submitted to the journal are first evaluated by the editor-in-chief. After being evaluated and checked with respect to publication and spelling rules and approved by the editor of the corresponding department at least two referees are assigned from the referee pool according to required field of expertise. Articles that are reviewed and approved by the assigned referees are published with the approval of Publication/Editorial Board. However, articles will be passed to a third referee in cases where one of the referee is negative and the other one is positive. Manuscripts will be reconsidered for referee review process if requested corrections are made and they are uploaded to the system by the authors within 30 days. The journal uses the double-blind review method throughout the review process. In this regard, identities of authors and referees are kept secret from each other during the review process for all studies submitted to the journal. Referees are granted maximum 4 weeks for review process. The studies submitted to the journal may be accepted, reconsidered for referee control after correction, published after correction or rejected. At the end of this process, the editor-in-chief prepares the editorial board report in the light of referee reports and opinions of department editors. Studies are published depending on the decision in this report. No fee is charged from the authors during the submission, evaluation and publication process.
